Allan McGinty - Basses
Allan has played in working bands all over the US and Europe. He brings a flair to the electric, acoustic and stand up bass rarely seen in this region. Allan comes from Houston, Texas where he's been a strong part of the music scene for over 20 years. He has played everything from Classical to the Blues with strong roots in the Cajun and Latino music found in his hometown. During his musical career Allan has played with many musicians including: Roy Head, Oscar Perry, Pearl Murray, Eric Johnston, E.C. Holland Orchestra, Tony Campisie, Big Roger Collins and Martha Turner to name a few. On the KC music scene for 10 years playing with Cobalt Project, Lester King, Mo Paul, Dan Bliss, John Paul Drum, Blue River Ordonnance and many others, Allan brings these influences with him to the band adding his own spice to Antumbra's rhythm section.

The creation of the hallucination is no more external then breathing the air to simply survive and the realities of infinite nature in a hallucination are conceptualized the same way any mere thought that occurs through a chemical and electric process in the mind. But why then do the hallucinations which feel so infinite in nature have such a tremendous effect on our perceptions of reality? These are things that are happening outside of the physical self, and the explanation of what that is can be very different from person to person. Some see it as spirituality of "God" some just a Natural Spirit of the Earth, the interpretations are endless. I take that spiritual energy and give it a physical form in Antumbra.
Drew - Guitar, Vocals, Mandolin, Percussion, Keys
Drew hails from Chillicothe, MO where his interest in music stemmed from an early age. Drew started writing music in the early 90's with friends James Jackson and The Reverend Hillbilly Willie. Together they wrote many tunes you hear in Antumbra today. Drew's musical interests include exploratory rock and jam music in general with influences like SRV, Jerry Garcia, Santana, Bela Fleck and The Flecktones, The Doors and Pink Floyd. He enjoys working out new possibilities with his band mates and always pushing the envelope towards new territory.

Music grabbed me and I was lucky to fit in. After meeting Brendan MacNaughton I was givin the opportunity to learn about music, but more importantly about myself. As a result I found peace.
